GIRL Project Summer 2018
The GIRL Project’s summer 2018 workshop was amazing! We packed in a big amount of fun activities.
This year’s highlights include:
Writing poems with Jazz Hudson, and recording them in the sound studio
Creating a t-shirt design with Allison Santiago
Learning about bike safety, then riding to the marina and receiving bikes from Cycles of Change
Dancing with Dr. Albirda Rose and learning about determination, detachment, destiny, and other key tools for being powerful young women of color
